Whoo doggie July is here. Time for good food and beautiful weather! Man are we lucky to be alive!
My bullet journal monthly setups have been pretty consistent through months but there are always a couple of little changes I make when a new month rolls around.
Finally it is July I will eventually be tasting the seasonal goodness of fresh tomatoes! Boy am I excited. So much so that they are welcoming me on my July welcome page!
The tomato that is shaped like a strawberry is a German Red Strawberry tomato. It is one of the varieties we grow in the greenhouses. It is not my personal favorite, but it is great for sauces. The Rose tomato in the back however is my favorite. So tender and sweet. Tomato sandwich, yes please!
I am experimenting with a calendar that is in a grid form again. 3×3 seems to be the right size for me! I am already loving this because it gives me a visual representation of the weeks again. That is what I think is missing from the vertical numerical layout that I have been using! I love having my early brain dump page. It gives me a centralized location in the monthly portion for me to reference as the weeks progress. I often have lots of little projects that I need to reference and it can be really easy to reference in this location instead of flipping through daily/weekly spreads to find the dimensions of the gate I am building.
I really love putting DIY washi tape on the top center corner of this page so that the ribbon I use to mark it doesn’t end up slipping down into the crack between the pages.
These Tombow Dual Brush Pens are really adding an amazing level of dimensionality to my spreads recently. There are really an endless amount of typefaces and textures I can make with the variable width end of the brush.
There you have it! I know I haven’t been posting my more recent setups on the blog, perhaps I will just do them all in one backlogged post. We will see! Thanks so much guys for reading and I hope this gave you some ideas for your own spreads!
