I love making this DIY Washi Tape for all sorts of paper crafts. Bullet journals, cards, collages everything! Here is a very quick and simple video of how I do it! If you like the video subscribe to my youtube channel here.
I have already made a post about this process, but I thought It was about time for me to make a video explaining the process. After all I know that I am a visual learner, and sometimes it is easier to learn by seeing a process rather than reading about it! That sure was the case for me in chemistry class haha I watched so many geometric chemical bonding videos and they helped me vastly more than any other chapter or diagram in a textbook ever did! Maybe that’s just because I am a part of the ADHD generation. Yeah, Ill blame it on my ADD baby….
Isn’t this the prettiest pattern ever! I love the dahlias and the macarons! So cute. It was really easy to find in a magazine too! I think it was from Good Housekeeping or House Beautiful!
You can use any type of paper to make the DIY washi tape. You can use, calendars, wrapping paper, magazines, thin bed sheets even If the thickness isn’t super important! I use magazines because the strips I need for my projects never really need to be that long. Also it is a good way to use up the patterns you like in magazines without having to store zines forever. Another added benefit is that you will have a great variety of washi tape patterns when using magazines, compared to only using wrapping paper where you may have a lot of one pattern. variety is the spice of life after all!
P.S. Like this post if you love “Sail” by Awalnation! Also comment below and tell me what you use your washi tape for!?
