So I think by now on this blog you’ll have found that I really like planners. I love every thing about them. They allow you to;
- not worry about what you need to do
- organize your thoughts
- have a space for shopping/to do lists
- blame that you didn’t do something cause you “forgot to write it in my planner”
That last one is a joke but I do find myself forgetting to attach my head every once in a while when I forget to put it on my list.
I want this planner to be weather resistant and sturdy so it will hold up over the next year of constant use. This planner I bought, and I chose this one because It had a rigid cover and a good clean daily layout.
Once I got the collage and words I liked, I covered it (rather simply) in packing tape, making a pseudo lamination. As you can see I let the strips of packing tape overlap a bit to make it more secure. So far it has held up well in light rain!I used a paint pen to write on it, just to find that it was a little bleedy. No matter, Ill just collage something on top of it when I find the right thing. There is always more packing tape!I also have a clip on the front for my assorted shopping lists!
Hope this helps you weather-proof your planners!
